General Purpose Wire
General Purpose Wire
Commonly used in automotive, truck, trailer, boat, and other low voltage applications. Smooth jacket is resistant to grease, oil and acid. Made in the USA. 60 volts max.
Primary Wire
General purpose thermoplastic insulated wire ideal for automotive, truck, trailers, boats, and other point-to-point, low voltage wiring applications. Jacketed single conductor wire withstands grease, oil, and acid. Stands temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius.
Extra Thick Primary Wire
This primary wire is extra thick for higher temperature applications. Stands temperatures up to 105 degrees Celsius. The thermoplastic insulated wire ideal for automotive, truck, trailers, boats, and other point-to-point, low voltage wiring applications. Jacketed single conductor wire withstands grease, oil, and acid.
Bonded General Purpose Wire
The bonded primary wires are color coded for identification and have PVC insulation, making them ideal for use in RVs, marine, and utility trailer applications. Copper stranded core is highly conductive, maximizing current transfer while remaining flexible for easy installation. Bonded General Purpose Wire is also known as bonded wire or parallel trailer wire.
Jacketed General Purpose Wire
Heavy duty wire with GPT conductors covered in a flat PVC jacket. Ideal for use in truck, bus, tractor, light-duty boats, and general service applications. Excellent protection against cuts and corrosion.
Abrasion Resistant General Purpose Wire
GXL is a step up from GPT wire, the polyethylene coating of this wire is extra-tough at higher temperatures. It stands up to scrapes and cuts that can occur in the field. It's so tough that it's commonly found in automotive applications and engine compartments where vibration and heat can cause wire fatigue. Also known as high-temperature automotive wire. Made in the USA.

Extra Thick Abrasion Resistant Wire
This special-purpose, high temperature (up to 125 degrees Celsius) wire is designed for automotive applications. Abrasion-resistant, jacketed design protects against moisture, oil, grease, and other damaging solvents. Works well in engine compartments where strict temperature ranges are required.
